Battery Disposal Notice

The following notice is directed at those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and do not resell them in the form delivered to them (end users).

Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. The return of used batteries is required by law.

1) Free Return of Used Batteries

Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally required to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal.

You can return used batteries at:

🏛 Municipal Collection Point

Recycling centres and municipal collection points near you

🏪 Local Retailers

Return at retailers who carry batteries in their product range

📦 Return to Us

Sufficiently stamped by post or in person at our dispatch warehouse

Our Return Obligation

As a distributor of batteries, we are also obliged to take back used batteries. Our return obligation is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You may either return such batteries to us with sufficient postage or drop them off directly at our dispatch warehouse at the address given in the imprint, free of charge.

2) Meaning of Battery Symbols

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin. This symbol indicates that batteries must not be placed in household waste.

For batteries with elevated hazardous substance content, the chemical designation of the substance used appears below the symbol:
